From the early morning hours to late at night, they ensure that their children are fed, educated, and loved, all while contributing to the workforce and supporting social movements. Mothers have also been at the forefront of struggles for justice, equality, and peace. From the early labor movements to contemporary protests against war and inequality, mothers have organized, marched, and fought for a better future. In honoring mothers today, we recognize their indispensable role in both the private and public spheres. We acknowledge the immense sacrifices they make and the profound impact they have on shaping a just and equitable society. Let us commit to supporting mothers in all their endeavors and ensuring that their contributions are valued and celebrated every day.
