On this day in 1870, in Ulyanovsk, Russia, Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov (Lenin) was born. He laid the foundations of the Revolutionary tradition and helped lift millions out of poverty. His contributions to Marxism shaped the course of Communism in the 20th and 21st centuries.

Yesterday in our nation’s capital, veterans protesting the illegal war in Iran were arrested. These Americans know first-hand that these wars ruin lives and only benefit banks and weapons manufacturers. ACP VA salutes them and joins them in saying: NO WAR IN IRAN!

🚚 TRUCKERS OF THE WORLD UNITE! - ACP VA went to Norfolk to organize Drayage drivers there to stand up for better wages, lower costs and, above all, more RESPECT. Drivers are sick and tired of being gouged every day by bosses and tax-men who sit back and steal their money!

April 9 marks the 3rd commemoration of Washington DC Paul Robeson Day. Robeson was a renowned actor and singer of his time, but ACP VA remembers him most for his pro-worker, anti-imperial activism, including founding the Council on African Affairs and Peace Information Center.

Members of the Virginia Chapter of the ACP tabled at a metro stop during rush in the belly of the beast across the river from the capital. The Virginia chapter put forward the reality of the imperialist war of aggression against Iran, and the crimes of the American empire.
